The NaturalSorb Safety Shield grease filters are installed in front of the metal filters in the hood and capture over 98% of the airborne oil and grease particles before they enter the metal filters, hood, ductwork and fan.

The filter media is made from a blend of 100% natural fibers that are fire resistant and have the inherent ability to capture and retain oil and grease. The filters are fully tested and ELT listed to meet the requirements of UL Standard 1046 when installed upstream of the metal filter in the hood.
